MARSHFIELD, Wis. — The City of Marshfield is accepting applications for a vacancy on its Business Improvement District (BID) Board. The appointment will fill an unexpired term ending in April 2029.
The BID supports the Main Street program and encourages investment within the district. It is funded through assessments on properties located there.
The seven-member board oversees the district’s operating plan, prepares and reviews annual reports, and may recommend changes to the Common Council. Members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the council. A majority must own or occupy commercial or service-oriented real estate within the district, and one member represents the Common Council.
Interested individuals should submit an application by Thursday, October 8, 2026. Meeting times and locations are set as meetings are scheduled.
