MARSHFIELD, WI — Residents with decorations placed at Hillside Cemetery, Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery are being reminded of the upcoming fall cemetery clean-up.
All grave decorations must be removed by October 1. This includes anything placed or stuck in the ground around headstones, such as solar lights, shepherd’s hooks and other decorations.
Any items remaining after October 1 will be removed and discarded by cemetery staff.
Residents removing decorations are asked to take all unwanted items with them and dispose of them properly. Do not leave items at the cemetery for disposal.
Fall and winter decorations may be placed beginning October 11. Only decorations affixed to headstones will be permitted during the fall and winter season.

Hillside Cemetery
Gate of Heaven Cemetery
Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery
