WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. — It’s not too late to begin classes at Mid-State Technical College this spring. The college is offering a wide range of spring mid-term start courses running March 2 through May 14, providing a flexible entry point for students ready to move forward with their education.
Courses are available in online, hybrid and in-person formats, allowing working adults, career changers and recent high school graduates to fit college into busy schedules. Students enrolling in mid-term start classes also have access to dedicated support staff to help them make informed decisions and set a clear path for success.

Business and Accounting: Accounting 1 and 2, Payroll Accounting, Business Taxation, Cost and Managerial Accounting, Excel for Accounting, Marketing Principles, Project Management, Human Resource Management
Manufacturing, Trades and Technical: Robotic Welding, Advanced and Intermediate GTAW (TIG), Machine Shop Foundations, Advanced CNC Milling Operations, Electrical Systems, HVAC Air Conditioning Fundamentals, Introduction to HVAC Installation
Public Safety and Human Services: Community Policing, Criminology, Probation and Parole, Wellness in Public Safety, Child Advocacy
Health and Wellness: Medical Terminology, Phlebotomy Clinical, Applied Dental Radiography, Group Fitness Instruction, Mental Wellness for Emergency Services
General Education and College Success: English Composition I, College Mathematics, Speech, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to American Government, GPS for Student Success
