PITTSVILLE, Wis. — Adventure, comedy, and classic heroism will take center stage this summer as Pittsville Area Community Theater presents *Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood*, a lively retelling of the legendary outlaw's story by acclaimed playwright Ken Ludwig.
The production will be performed over two weekends, July 17–26, at the Pittsville Auditorium, offering audiences a fast-paced theatrical adventure filled with sword fights, romance, humor, and timeless themes of courage and friendship.
Ludwig's adaptation brings a fresh and witty perspective to the beloved Robin Hood legend, following the famous outlaw and his merry band as they battle the power-hungry Prince John, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Sir Guy of Gisbourne. Along the way, audiences can expect daring escapes, clever disguises, laugh-out-loud comedy, and heartfelt moments suitable for theatergoers of all ages.
