Central Chamber Chorale Seeks New Voices for Upcoming Season

MARSHFIELD – The Central Chamber Chorale is inviting prospective members to audition and join its upcoming season of music-making.

Auditions will take place in a welcoming setting at the group’s first rehearsal on Monday, September 8, at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 200 South Lincoln Avenue in Marshfield. Rather than a formal solo performance, new singers are encouraged to participate in a “friendly” audition by joining the ensemble in rehearsal.

The Chorale is especially seeking Tenors and Basses but welcomes all area adults and musically skilled high school students to try out. Members should be able to sing, blend their voices, follow direction, read music, and attend rehearsals consistently.

The group will present two free concerts on November 15 and 16 under the direction of music director Elizabeth Dahlby.
